Black Diamond Police Reports May 24 to 29, 2021

On 5/24/2021, an officer received a report of a burglary to a residence under construction in the 33400 block of Crystal Ave SE. Several appliances were stolen from the house. Several fingerprints were recovered which were submitted for analysis.

On 05/25/2021, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the 33300 block of Glasier Ave SE. Several homes under construction was found with unlocked front doors. The doors were secured.

On 05/26/2021, Officers were dispatched to the 23600 block of Tahoma PL in regard to a report that four individuals had been seen earlier walking through the neighborhood possibly trying to gain entry to parked vehicles. Upon arrival, Officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate anyone matching the description given.

On 5/26/2021, Officers were dispatched to the 33100 block of Crystal AVE SE for a vehicle prowl. Officers contacted the reporting party and documented items stolen. There are no investigative leads or suspect information at this time.

On 5/26/2021, Officers were dispatched to the 33100 block of Glacier AVE SE for a theft of motor vehicle report. Officers completed a motor vehicle theft. The report was forwarded to Black Diamond records specialists and entered as stolen. There is no suspect information at this time.

On 5/26/2021, Officers were dispatched to a vehicle prowl that occurred in the 33100 block of Glacier AVE SE. Officers contacted the reporting party and documented items stolen from the vehicle. This case is currently inactive pending investigative leads.

On 5/28/2021, Officers were dispatched to a report of lost property to be handled by phone. The caller reported over one year ago his vehicle had been impounded with a firearm in the vehicle. Officers made contact with the reporting party and obtained as much detail as possible. Officers conducted a search of local records and found nothing indicating a firearm had been recovered by the Black Diamond Police Department. Officers contacted Royal Towing and were advised no firearm had been recovered from the vehicle. Officers contacted the reporting party and advised him of their findings.

On 05/29/2021 Officers conducting an area check of new apartment construction in the Ten Trails Development contacted an individual walking through buildings under construction. The individual was identified and released at the scene after Officers found no signs of damage or items missing.

On 5/29/2021, Officers were dispatched to a residence located in the 30700 block of 229th PL SE regarding a civil issue. The complainant advised that his brother had disconnected the power to an exterior electrical outlet that he needed to use. Contact was made with the brother, and he advised that the ground fault circuit (GFI) breaker had failed and needed replaced. No crime was reported during this incident.
