Black Diamond Police Reports Aug. 8 to 13, 2021

On 08/11/2021 Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 32500 block of 1st AVE in regard to a report of a possible overdose. Officers determined that the individual involved required medical evaluation, and Fire personnel recommended transport to a hospital for evaluation.

On 08-12-21, at approximately 14:00 hours, Officers were informed that SCORE Correctional Facility called and wanted to confirm a warrant on a male subject currently incarcerated at the facility. The warrant was confirmed and the subject remained in-custody at the facility on Black Diamond’s warrant.

On 8/12/2021, an officer was dispatched to a marine complaint regarding a subject on a boat at a dock yelling at individuals. Contact was made with the complaint and she advised the issue had resolved itself.

On 8/12/2021, officers were dispatched to the Lake Sawyer Store regarding a welfare check on a subject faced down. Officers arrived and located a male nearby who advised he did not need any help and was leaving the area. No crime was reported.

On 08/15/2021, an Officer was dispatched to the Black Diamond Police Department at 25510 Lawson St reference to an admin detail. King County Sheriffs Office requested that a copy of a No Contact Order (DV) out of Black Diamond be faxed to them. The order was faxed as requested.

On 08/15/2021, officers responded to the 31500 block of 3rd AVE regarding a welfare check. Upon arrival, the female subject appeared in good health and refused any help by officers. The subject was instructed to leave the premises and officers cleared the call without incident.

On 08/15/2021, an Officer was conducting a business check at the 30400 block of 3rd Ave. While at that location, the Officer sustained minor damage to his vehicle when he accidentally struck a plastic pipe that was protruding out of the pavement.

On 08/13/2021, officers were provided with a Ring Doorbell and its mount at the police station that had been found on the road by a citizen. Officers secured the property but were unable to locate an owner for it. The items were logged into Black Diamond Evidence for safekeeping.
