Black Diamond Police Reports 8-30 to 9-4, 2021

On 08/30/2021 an Officer responded to a vehicle prowl and a stolen vehicle at the 25400 block of Palmer Pl. Victim advised that his pickup was prowled and that his SUV was stolen. The SUV was entered into WACIC / NCIC system as stolen.

On 8/30/2021, an officer received a phone report of a vehicle prowl that occurred in the 25600 block of Cumberland Way. Paperwork was taken from the vehicle There is no suspect information and the case is inactive.

On 08/30/2021, an Officer was dispatched to a traffic hazard at the 31800 block of 3rd Ave. A vehicle was disabled and partially on the roadway. Upon arrival, the Officer assisted the vehicle’s driver obtain a tow.

On 09/02/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 23491 block of Tahoma PL in regard to a report of construction noise. Officers were able to determine that the noise was not coming from the area, and later found workers operating equipment at a nearby commercial site.

On 09-02-21, at approximately 10:56 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a suspicious person digging behind a residence in the 23500 block of SE 299th ST. Officers were informed that the home owner called to report that she could see people wearing bright orange vests digging behind her residence in the woods. Officers arrived and contacted a subject who was working for a construction crew on a project just east of the residence. The subject was clearing blackberry bushes on property that belonged to King County.

On 09/04/2021, an Officer was dispatched to the 30800 block of 228th Ave reference to a civil standby. Complainant asked for a standby while she retrieved items from her step father’s residence. Step father has a caution for threats to Law Enforcement. It was determined not to respond to the residence and the complaint was advised to obtain a court order to obtain her property from the home.

On 9/4/2021, an officer received a phone report of a citizen issue in the 32900 block of Cedar Ave SE. A flashing light nearby related to a construction site was illuminating their residence at night. The officer is working to find a solution for the issue.
