Black Diamond Police Reports Sept. 28 to Oct. 2, 2021

On 09-28-21, at approximately 12:30 hours, Officers received a call from the Black Diamond Police Department asking for the Officer to call a subject regarding a stolen skateboard. Officers called the subject who stated that her son’s skateboard was stolen from her front porch in the 23500 block of Granite CT on 09-17-21.  The subject has Ring video footage of the subject stealing the skateboard from the front porch; although, the footage does not show the subject’s face.

On 09/28/2021, an Officer was dispatched to SE 288th Street and 216th Ave SE reference to an Agency Assist. KCSO needed assistance with traffic control regarding a collision just north of the Black Diamond City limits. The Officer assisted until being relieved by a Deputy.

On 9/30/2021, an officer was on patrol in the 22400 block of SE 296 ST when they came across a single vehicle accident. The driver was cited for speed too fast for conditions and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

On 10/1/2021, an officer was dispatched to the area of Railroad AVE/Baker ST for a 4-wheeler ATV riding on the city streets. The witness reported a male driver with two small children riding on the ATV with no helmets. The witness also advised one of the small children fell off the ATV with the rear wheel running over her ankle. The adult driver picked up the child and put her back on the ATV before fleeing the scene. An area check was conducted, but the ATV could not be found.

On 10/1/2021, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 31500 block of 3rd Avenue for a speed violation. It was found that the rider of the motorcycle was driving under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and booked into the Enumclaw Jail with Royal Towing impounding the motorcycle.

On 10/02/2021 Officers responded to the 1600 block of Florence ST in regard to a request for assistance from the Enumclaw Police Department with an attempted theft of a boat. Officers assisted with an area check for a suspect who fled the scene on foot. The boat was recovered, and one suspect was detained.

On 10/02/2021, an Officer was dispatched a a theft at the 22400 block of SE 297th St. An unknown suspect stole two bicycles sometime in the last week

On 10/2/2021, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 26900 block of SE Green River Gorge Road. The driver was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license. He was cited for the crime, and his vehicle was impounded.
