Black Diamond Police Reports Oct. 11 to 16, 2021

On 10/11/2021, Officers were dispatched to the 31500 block of 3rd Ave reference to a suspicious person. A subject was in the parking lot at that location with his shirt off and washing his vehicle. Upon arrival, the suspect was no longer there.

On 10-13-21, at approximately 06:28 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a suspicious circumstance at a residence in the 22400 block of SE 300th ST. Officers were informed that a female did not recognize a pair of shoes in her residence and thought that someone may have entered her home while she was taking her dog for a walk. Officers arrived and cleared the residence and found no signs of anyone making entry. The Ring doorbell surveillance video showed no one entering the residence other than the home owner.

On 10/13/2021, an officer received a report of ongoing issues with vehicles not stopping for subjects in a crosswalk in the 24000 block of Roberts Drive. The problem was reported to be occurring when children are crossing to go to the school bus stop in the morning. The information was noted and forwarded to officers who work during those hours for emphasis patrols.

On 10/13/2021, officers responded to the 32800 block of Railroad Ave for a report of a subject sleeping under a bench. Officers contacted the subject and contacted a crisis response unit to assist the subject. Through further interaction it was found the subject had a medical problem as well. The subject was checked by the Fire Department and transported to the hospital.

On 10/13/2021 Officers contacted a vehicle in the 32800 block of SE Stevens ST. Subsequent investigation determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and booked into jail and a passenger removed the vehicle from the scene.

On 10/15/2021, officers responded to the 21700 block of SE 288 ST for a report of a hit and run. Officers were able to identify the suspect vehicle. The investigation into who was driving the vehicle is ongoing.

On 10/15/2021, officers responded to the 32100 block of Morgan DR regarding a physical domestic. Upon arrival, officers determined that an assault had occurred. The victims were treated at the scene and the suspect was arrested shortly thereafter. He was booked into King County Jail for assault 2nd degree (DV), unlawful imprisonment (DV), assault in the 4th degree (DV), and interfering with reporting of domestic violence.

On 10/16/2021, an Officer was dispatched to a hit and run collision at the 23500 block of Roberts Dr. A vehicle crashed into a sign and then left the scene. Suspect was identified and was cited for hit and run.

On 10/16/2021, an officer responded to the 32500 block of 3rd Ave for a noise complaint. The officer found loud noise was only coming from the building when the doors were opened for people entering or exiting the building. The sound of children playing outside was louder than the music from the building.

On 10/16/2021, officers were dispatched to a two vehicle collision near the 31600 block of 3rd AVE. Upon arrival, officers determined that the driver of one of the vehicles was under the influence of alcohol. Following being evaluated at the scene for injury, the suspect was arrested and booked into Enumclaw Jail for DUI.
