Black Diamond Police Reports 11-8 to 11-2021

On 11/08/2021, an Officer was dispatched to an agency assist (traffic control) at the 31000 block of Black Diamond Ravensdale Rd. A tree was down in the roadway and a vehicle on the east side of the roadway crashed into it. The crash occurred on the unincorporated side of the roadway and KCSO was handling it. Upon arrival, the KCSO advised that the Officer that he was not needed.

On 11/09/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 33400 block of Crystal AVE SE in regard to a report of suspicious noises in the area of new home construction. Officers conducted an area check and were unable to locate anyone in the area, and found the construction site secure with nothing suspicious at the location.

On 11/10/2021 Officers recieved a call for a welfare check on a female. Officers contacted the female and found she did not need police assistance and was in the care of her family members

On 11/10/2021 Officers received a report of an attempted break-in on a parking pay machine. The suspects did not gain access but did leave damage on the lock. There are no suspects, no leads, the case is in-active.

On 11/10/2021 Officers responded to a report of children left unattended in a vehicle located in a parking lot in the 31600 block of 3rd Ave, Black Diamond, WA. While en route the reporting party advised the driver had now returned to the vehicle. Before officer arrival at the location, both the driver and the reporting party had left the scene.

On 11/11/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 30200 block of 224TH AVE SE in regard to a request for a welfare check on an individual who had left their residence without notice in the middle of the night. Officers located the individual who advised them that she was not in need of any assistance and was going for a walk.

On 11/11/2021 Officers stopped a vehicle in the 22800 block of SE 288th for a speed violation. Subsequent investigation determined that there was probable cause for criminal traffic charges. The driver was cited and released at the scene.

On 11/11/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 30200 block of 224th AVE SE in regard to a request for a welfare check. Officers contacted the individuals involved and the person in question was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation.
