Black Diamond Reports 1-24 to 1-30-2022

On 01/24/2022 Officers stopped a vehicle in the 28800 block of SR 169 for an expired registration. Subsequent investigation determined that the driver of the vehicle had a license status of suspended in the third degree and was the subject of several arrest warrants. The driver was booked on the warrants and the vehicle impounded.

On 1/24/2021, officers responded to the 32600 block of 3rd Ave for a commercial burglary report. Fingerprints and surveillance footage of the suspects was obtained and officers are attempting to identify the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.

On 02/24/2022, officers responded to the 32600 block of 3rd AVE in reference to a vehicle vs semi-truck and trailer collision. Upon arrival, officers found that medical personnel would not be needed and there were no injuries. The semi-truck driver was issued an infraction for following too closely and the other vehicle was towed from the scene.

On 01/24/2022, officers responded to the intersection of SE 292nd and 216th AVE SE regarding a two-vehicle collision with injuries. Upon arrival, fire had already treated those involved and no one was transported to the hospital. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, both drivers were issued infractions for no insurance, and one of the drivers received an infraction for no valid operating license.

On 01/26/22, officers were dispatched to assist KCSO with a perimeter position for a K9 search for an auto theft suspect. Officers arrived and positioned on SR169 until a dog was deployed. The position was later relinquished to responding KCSO deputies. No other involvement was initiated on this call.

On 01/26/2022, An Office contacted two subjects at the 32600 block of 3rd Ave. One of the subjects had active warrants and after receiving confirmation on one of the warrants, the subject was arrested.

On 1/30/2022, an officer responded to the 31100 block of 3rd Ave for a parking problem. The reporting party called about a vehicle they believed was blocking their driveway. The officer arrived and found the vehicle was parked across the street and was not blocking the driveway.

On 01/30/2022, officers responded to the 30400 block of 224th AVE SE in reference to a single vehicle collision. Upon arrival, no one involved needed medical attention. It was determined that the vehicle had been traveling at an unsafe speed, failed to navigate a curve in the road and left the roadway, causing damage to a utility pole and knocking out power in the area. The driver was issued an infraction for an intermediate driver’s license violation as well as speed too fast for conditions.

On 01/30/2022 Officers were dispatched to the 33000 block of Eagle Peak LN in regard to a report of an individual kicking a residence door. Officers were advised that the subject had left the scene in a vehicle, and an area check was conducted with nothing found.
