Black Diamond Police Reports

On 09/22/2022 Officers were dispatched to a request for contact by phone regarding a dispute. Officers determined that the matter was civil in nature and advised the reporting party on resolving the matter in civil court.

On 9/22/2022, at approximately 12:17 hours, Officers were called by Valley Communication Radio for a Theft at 32115 Sunny Lane. Dispatch informed Officers that a subject tried to steal packages from the residence and the victim wanted to be contacted by phone. Officers located the suspect who confessed to the crime and was arrested and booked into Enumclaw Jail.

On 9/23/2022, Officers were dispatched to a single vehicle collision in the area of Roberts DR/Willow AVE SE. Officers located the vehicle in the 23900 block of Roberts DR. The vehicle was on its driver’s side blocking the westbound lane. The driver was not injured and showed no signs of impairment. Royal Towing was called to the scene to remove the vehicle. Officers cleared the scene.

On 9/25/2022, Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the 25200 block of Kanaskat DR. The reporting party advised the vehicle left the scene upon him confronting the occupants and wanted officers to conduct a patrol of the area. Officers conducted an area check, no suspicious activity was observed, and no vehicle matching the description was seen in the area.

On 9/25/2022, Officers were dispatched to a malicious mischief report at the Black Diamond Post Office. Officers arrived on the scene and conducted a walk through of the lobby. It was there officers discovered the outgoing mail receptacle had been damaged. The door to the receptacle had been ripped from the wall exposing the mail room behind and the outgoing packages below. Officers made contact with a Postal Inspector who advised he would be taking over the case. Reference Postal incident/case number 3178156-MT.

On 9/25/22 Officers responded to a dispute in the 31100 block of 3rd Ave. A caller stated that a male subject had been pacing the neighborhood and yelling at children on bicycles to get out of the roadway. He was last seen walking out of the neighborhood. An officer contacted the subject’s mother who advised he had not returned home yet but stated that he has been having some mental health issues. The mother later called in to advise he had now returned home and gad calmed himself and she would be following up on possible resources the next day.

On 9/28/2022, at approximately 11:26 hours, Officers were contacted by Valley Communication Radio regarding a Suspicious Vehicle in the neighborhood of the 32700 block of Ash AVE SE. Dispatch informed us that approximately forty minutes prior, a dark blue sedan with no plates was driving slowly around the block. Officers arrived on scene at 11:30 hours and performed an area check but were not able to locate a vehicle matching the description. Officers cleared the scene at 11:45.

On 9/29/2022, an officer responded to the 1800 block of Lowell Ave in Enumclaw to assist the Enumclaw Police Department with an incident. The Black Diamond officer stood by while the Enumclaw officers conducted their investigation.

On 09-29-22, at approximately 11:21 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a harassment at a residence in the 31100 block of 3rd AVE. Officers were informed that a female called to report that her adult son had threatened to punch her. Officers arrived at residence and conducted an investigation.  Officers took the adult son into custody for harassment and he was booked into SCORE Correctional Facility.

On 09/29/2022 Officers were responded to a request for contact via phone regarding a welfare check on an individual. Officers were able to make contact with the individual and determined that he was not in need of assistance.

On 09/29/2022 Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 22500 block of SE 298th ST in regard to a report of a dispute between family members. Officers found that an argument had occurred between two brothers visiting the residence, who had agreed to remain separate for the remainder of the visit.
