Black Diamond Police Reports

On 10/02/2022, Officers were dispatched to the 23400 block of SE Dogwood St reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival, the area was searched and no suspicious people were located.

On 10/3/2022 An officer responded to a noise complaint in the 32000 block of 3rd Ave. The officer found the building had been rented out and had a live band playing. The officer closed the doors to the business in an attempt to cut down on the noise level and called contacts for the business to advise of the complaint.

On 10/02/2022, an Officer was dispatched to a traffic complaint at the 22800 block of SE Fir St. Complainant called to report a vehicle driving recklessly on Roberts Dr.  The vehicle and driver were located at the 24400 block of Morgan St. The vehicle was parked and the driver was inside her residence. No reckless driving was observed.

On 10/4/2022 at approximately 10:51 hours, Valley Communication Radio contacted Officers regarding a civil issue at the 23400 block of Fir ST. The reporting party was requesting a phone call to address multiple packages that were being delivered to her residence. Officers confirmed no crime was committed and advised the resident of possible next steps. The call was cleared at 11:20 hours.

On 10/4/2022, at approximately 12:30 hours, Officers were contacted at the Black Diamond Police Department regarding a starter pistol that a subject was wanting to turn over for destruction. Officers submitted the item into evidence to be destroyed at approximately 14:03 hours.

On 10/04/2022, at approximately 13:46 hours, Officers were contacted by Valley Communication Radio regarding a suspicious vehicle at the 29000 block of 220 PL SE. Officers drove out to the location but found no vehicle matching the description. The call was cleared at 14:24 hours.

On 10-04-22, at approximately 16:17 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a traffic complaint. Officers were informed that an anonymous subject called 911 to report that a white male was riding an unlicensed scooter north on 232nd AVE SE towards SE 288th ST. Officers conducted an area check with negative results.

On 10/05/2022 Officers were dispatched to a report by phone of a missing horse. The reporting party advised that their horse had left a fenced area in the 32800 block of Merino PL at some point overnight.

On 10/05/2022, at approximately 13:43 hours, a Federal Way Officer arrested a subject on a Black Diamond warrant and was later booked into Enumclaw Jail.

On 10/5/2022, an officer responded to the 30700 block of 229 PL SE for a report of a subject who rang the doorbell of a house multiple times and leaving when the resident answered the door. The officer checked the property around the house and was unable to locate anything.

On 10/6/2022, at approximately 09:45 hours, Officers were contacted regarding a civil standby at the 31100 block of 3rd AVE. Officers provided a courtesy transport to the location. The subject collected a few of his items and left the residence. Officers cleared the call at 10:57 hours.

On 10/6/2022 at approximately 13:43 hours, Officers received a call regarding a stolen utility vehicle from the 31400 block of 3rd AVE. The vehicle was a rental from the Tough Mudder event which was stolen sometime between the 29th and 30th of September. Officers completed a vehicle theft report and entered the vehicle into WACIC/NCIC.

On 10/7/2022, officers responded to the 30600 block of 3rd Ave for a collision. One party suffered minor injuries in the collision. The other party was cited for following too close.

On 10/07/2022 a construction company notified the Black Diamond Police Department via email that at an unknown time and date during the summer two heaters were possibly removed or stolen from an unknown location in the Ten Trails Development. Pending any further information, this case is being placed on inactive status.

On 10/07/2022 Officers responded to a request for contact by phone regarding a fraud that occurred earlier in the week. An individual was contacted online and subsequently purchased gift cards which were transferred to an unknown person via a phone call. Pending any further development of suspect information, this case is being placed on inactive status.

On 10/7/2022, an officer on patrol in the 23200 block of SE Dogwood St located a reported stolen vehicle. The vehicle was unoccupied and had stolen license plates on it. The vehicle was impounded and the license plates were seized.
