Black Diamond Police Reports

On 10/7/2022, an officer on patrol in the 23200 block of SE Dogwood St located a reported stolen vehicle. The vehicle was unoccupied and had stolen license plates on it. The vehicle was impounded and the license plates were seized.

On 10/10/2022, Officers responded to the 30800 block of 3rd Ave reference to a suspicious circumstance. A business at that location was found to have an open door. A check of the business was conducted and the door was secured.

On 10/13/2022, at approximately 09:43 hours, Officers were contacted regarding a renewal of order for protection. Officers served the order electronically. Officers cleared the call at 12:05 hours.

On 10/13/2022, at approximately 13:00 hours, Officers were contacted regarding a court order service at the 32200 block of 5th AVE. Officers served the court order to the defendant. The call was cleared at 13:37 hours.

On 10/13/2022, an officer responded to the 30500 block of 224 AVE SE for a report of a vehicle theft. The victims keys were stolen during an earlier vehicle prowl in Kent. The victim returned home to find a vehicle parked at home had been stolen using the earlier stolen keys. There are no suspects or leads at this time.

On 10/15/22 Officers responded to a request for a welfare check of a male seated on the sidewalk in the area of Ten Trails Pkwy and Cypress Ave SE. Officers contacted a male who stated he had gotten lost and was trying to get back to the Seattle area. The officers provided the male a courtesy transport to the closest bus stop that was still operating.

On 10/15/2022, Officer responded to the 33100 block of Ten Trails PKWY SE reference to a juvenile problem. Complainant advised that juveniles were in the area ringing his doorbell and then running away. Upon arrival the area was checked and no juveniles were located.

On 10/16/22 officers responded to a report of a possible domestic disturbance in the 33000 block of SE Stevens St. A neighbor advised they heard glass breaking and what they thought were two people arguing in a neighboring residence. Officers arrived and contacted a male who advised he was alone and had broken a glass, but there was no one else involved and did not need police or any other resources. Officers spoke with another family member via phone who also confirmed the male was home alone and police were not needed.

On 10/18/22 Officers were dispatched to a complaint of a speeding vehicle that was traveling northbound on 3rd AVE and passing vehicles. An officer was also on 3rd AVE at the time of the call and did not observe any vehicles matching the description given and no vehicles were observed speeding on the patrol car’s radar.

On 10/19/2022 at approximately 12:40 hours, Officers were dispatched to a traffic complaint at the 32900 block of Jones Lake RD. Dispatch informed officers that an anonymous caller reported a black vehicle speeding while passing on a curve. A partial plate was provided. Officers drove out to the location but were unable to locate the vehicle. The call was cleared at 12:58 hours.

On 10/20/2022 Officers were dispatched to a single vehicle collision in the 22000 block of SE 295th PL. Subsequent investigation determined that the driver was unlicensed and had been travelling too fast for conditions. The driver was cited and released at the scene and the vehicle impounded.

On 10/20/2022 Officers were dispatched to a 911 hang up in the 22800 block of SE Fir ST. Officers checked the area with nothing suspicious found.

On 10/22/2022, an officer responded to the 30200 block of 224 Ave SE for a welfare check on a subject. The officer contacted the subject who stated they got into an argument with a friend, and the friend left them on the side of the road. The subject was lost. Due to time of night and weather conditions the officer provided a courtesy transport for the subject.

On 10/22/22 Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of SE 294th/218th Pl SE. A caller advised that an older model truck was scene traveling with no lights on, northbound from that location. Officers did an area check and no vehicles matching the description were located.

On 10/23/2022, an Officer responded to the 31300 block of 3rd Avenue reference to a domestic disturbance. An investigation was conducted and on 10/24/2022 an arrest was made.

On 10/23/22 officers responded to a report of a possible suspicious vehicle in the Ten Trails development. A caller advised a vehicle without a license plate was seen driving around the neighborhood. The vehicle was last seen southbound from SE Fir St. Officers drove through the area and confirmed the vehicle was no longer driving in the development.

On 10/23/22 Officers responded to a request from KCSO to do an area check for a possible DUI vehicle, last known direction was possibly heading towards Black Diamond from SE Green Valley RD. Officers performed an area check and KCSO later advised they had located the vehicle, still in their jurisdiction.

On 10/24/2022, Officers responded to a priority response request to an agency assist at the 2000 block of Wells St in Enumclaw, Washington. Upon arrival, the officers assisted by helping to maintain the peace while Enumclaw Officers conducted their investigation.On 10/18/2022 at approximately 09:57 hours, Officers received a call regarding a Theft at the 33200 block of Ten Trails Parkway SE. The Public Works Department reported that a portable crane was stolen sometime between 10/07/2022 and 10/10/2022. No suspect information is currently available. Officers cleared the call at 10:19 hours.

On 10/24/2022, Officers were dispatched to the 23000 block of SE Evergreen ST for a malicious mischief report. Officers contacted the reporting party by phone and she stated an outdoor decoration had been damaged. The reporting party advised it had no value and stated she just wanted officers to be aware that it had occurred. Officers contacted the reporting party at her residence and documented the incident via body worn camera.

On 10/20/2022 Officers were dispatched to the scene of a traffic collision in the 29200 block of SE 216th.

On 10-25-22, at approximately 13:20 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a two vehicle collision at 3rd AVE and the Jones Lake RD. Officers arrived and located two vehicles in the intersection.

On 10/27/2022 Officers received a request for contact via phone regarding a possible fraud. Officers checked a local residence without result in connection with the fraud, which occurred in an outside jurisdiction.
