BD Police Reports

On 12/4/2022, Officers were dispatched to an auto recovery report in the 31100 block of 3rd AVE. After investigating officers learned the vehicle had been recovered by the King County Sheriff’s Department the previous night. The reporting party was Toyota Safety Connect and they were not aware the vehicle had been recovered, causing them contact Valley Communications Radio and report the vehicle’s current location. Officers contacted the registered owner and confirmed he was aware the vehicle had been recovered and where it was located

On 12/04/2022 Officers were dispatched to the 22400 block of SE 300th ST in regard to a traffic complaint about a loud vehicle speeding in the area. Officers conducted an area check and were unable to locate a vehicle matching the description given. When the reporting party was contacted Officers were advised that it was thought to be an ex-boyfriend of the reporting party’s granddaughter and Officers advised on the process of obtaining an 

anti-harassment order.

On 12/5/2022, Officers were dispatched to a fight in the 25800 block of Lawson ST. Prior to officer arrival the parties left the scene in their vehicles. Officers were able to make contact with one involved party. He advised the other involved party had passed him while driving and was speeding through a residential area. He followed the individual who was an amazon delivery driver to his next stop. Once there he exited his vehicle and engaged in a verbal altercation. He advised no physical altercation took place and the dispute was verbal only. Officers determined there was no evidence supporting a crime had occurred.

On 12/5/2022, Officers were dispatched to a traffic complaint in the 32600 block of Willow AVE SE. Officers contacted the reporting party by phone and were advised a road rage incident took place outside of the city on state route 18. The other involved party followed the reporting party to the location on Willow AVE SE and a verbal dispute took place. The reporting party advised no property was damaged, no threats were made, and no physical altercation took place. The unidentified party left the scene prior to officer arrival. Officers determined no crime took place and cleared the scene.

On 12/06/2022 Officers were dispatched to the 29000 block of 216th AVE SE in regard to a report of a child locked inside a running vehicle. The owner of the vehicle advised Officers that their husband was enroute with a vehicle key, and Officers remained on scene until he arrived to open the vehicle.

On 12/07/22, the Black Diamond Police Department was contacted in reference to an abandoned car at the 25000 block of Morgan ST. The vehicle did not have plates and the VIN was checked showing it not to be a stolen car. It was not on public right-of-way and the reporting person was called and advised of the situation.

On 12/07/2022 at approximately 20:00 hours, officers were dispatched to investigate found packages that were believed to be stolen. The packages were found at the 30500 block of 234th AVE SE. Officers investigated the incident and determined no crime had occurred. This case is now closed.

On 12/09/22 at approximately 16:45 hours, Officers were dispatched to assist the fire department for a reported dog bite that occurred at the 33600 block of Juniper AVE SE. Officers documented the incident, and referred the case to King County Animal control.

On 12/10/2022 at approximately 01:40 hours, Officers were dispatched to a music complaint in the 32600 block of Park Butte LN. Officers arrived on scene and conducted an area check. Officers did not observe any loud music in the area.
