Black Diamond Police Reports

On 1/14/2023 Officers were dispatched to a request for a phone call. A citizen had questions about an ongoing issue with his neighbor’s loud exhaust on his vehicle and wanted to discuss the issues with an officer. The citizen’s questions were answered and he advised he would call back when the disturbance occurred again.

On 01/17/2023, Officers were contacted by phone by a concerned citizen that was worried about her grandson’s mental state. The citizen’s Grandson lives in Enumclaw, and she advised that he was involved in an incident with the Enumclaw police department. Officers referred the citizen to contact Enumclaw PD directly for information. Officers provided the citizen with their phone number.

On 01/17/2023 Officers were dispatched to a phone report regarding a suspicious vehicle parked in the 23400 block of SE Stevens ST. Officers found the vehicle was legally parked and no action was taken at this time.

On 01/17/2023, Officers were dispatched to a theft report at the 23200 block of SE Dogwood ST. Officers contacted the reporting party by phone, and investigated the incident. Officers were unable to obtain any suspect information. Pending further subsequent information, this case is being placed on an inactive status.

On 01/17/2023, A subject dropped off a found wallet. Officers collected the wallet for safekeeping. While processing evidence for the incident. A phone inside of the wallet continued to ring. Officers answered the phone, and told the owner of the phone to pick up their phone at the police station. Officers met with the owner of the wallet, identified them by DOL photo, and returned their found property.

On 1/17/2023 Officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person in the 29600 block of 232nd Ave SE. A caller advised they had seen someone with a flashlight walking in their yard. Officers responded to the location and checked the yard and surrounding area and no subjects were located. Officers then conducted extra patrol throughout the area.

On 01/17/23 Officers responded to the 30200 block of 224th Ave SE in reference to a citizen assist. It was requested Officers stand by while a citizen loaded her belongings and left her residence. The call was cleared without further incident.

On 01-19-23, at approximately 07:54 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding an attempted vehicle theft in the 23800 block of Fairfax ST.  Officers were advised that the father of the vehicle owner called 911 to report that he heard the vehicle alarm going off and when he went outside, he noticed the driver’s side door open and a gray colored Ford Mustang leaving the scene at a high rate of speed. Officers arrived at the scene and found that someone punched out the driver’s side door lock in an attempt to steal the vehicle.  No items were missing from the vehicle.

On 01/19/2023 Officers contacted an individual who was exhibiting disruptive behavior outside a residence in the 32600 block of 5th AVE. Officers were able to determine that no crime was being committed and that the individual was not currently a danger to himself. Officers attempted to provide potential resources without success.

On 01/19/2023, Officers responded to the 29300 block of 233rd AVE SE in regard to a report of theft of a motor vehicle. Subsequent investigation determined that the stolen vehicle was used in another attempted theft of a motor vehicle shortly after being taken. The vehicle was entered into WCIC/NCIC as stolen. Pending the development of any suspect information, the case is being placed on inactive status.

On 01/21/2023, Officers were dispatched to suspicious persons at the 32600 block of Stuart Ave SE.  Complainant advised that two subjects walked up onto her front porch.  No crime was committed; however, the complainant believed that the subjects looking for packages to steal.  Upon arrival, the area was searched and the subjects were not located.

On 01/30/2023 at approximately 0731 hours, an Officer was dispatch to the 32000 block of Morgan Drive, in reference to a Juvenile Complaint. Upon Oficers arrival it was found a child was misbehaving due to them being upset at their younger siblings, causing them to miss the bus.

On 12/30/2022 at approximately 10:20 hours, Officers were notified by phone of a storage unit that was burglarized at the 30400 block of 3rd AVE. Officers contacted the reporting party by phone and conducted an interview. This case is currently under investigation.

On 01/30/2023, Officers were dispatched to a juvenile problem that occurred at the 30400 block of 227th Pl SE. Officers contacted the reporting party and juvenile. After interviewing the parties involved, officers determined no crime had occurred and both parties denied resources.

On 2-4-2023, Officers received a dispatched call from Valley Communications at 11:09 hours regarding an obvious death at a residence located on the 23600 block of Tahoma PL in Ten Trails. Officers responded to the location and contacted Mountain View Fire personnel who met with the family members of the deceased individual. Officers conducted a death investigation of the scene and found no suspicious circumstances regarding the death.

On 02/04/2023, at approximately 13:28 hours, Officers received a dispatched call from Valley Communications regarding a suspicious vehicle driving around the 29300 block of 233rd Ave SE. Officers responded and conducted an area check and did not locate the vehicle

On 02/04/2023, an Officer was dispatched to the 32500 block of 3rd Ave reference to a noise complaint (loud music). Upon arrival, the Officer contacted the source of the music and it was turned down.

On 02/05/2023, an Officer responded to the 1400 block of Mchugh Ave reference to an agency assist. A person who had probable cause for his arrest was inside a home at that location. It was finally determined to not enter the home to make the arrest and to address the issue at a later date.

On 02/05/2023, an Officer responded to 22800 Block of SE Fir St reference to a malicious mischief.  An unknown subject broke the window out of a vehicle at that location.

On 02/05/2023, an Officer responded to a vehicle prowl at the 22800 block of Se Fir St. The victim’s passenger side door window was broken out and a backpack was stolen from the front passenger seat.

On 2/5/23 an Officer observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed in the 30400 block of 224th AVE SE. The vehicle then collided into a utility pole. The driver was transported to the hospital for minor injuries and the passenger refused medical transport. The vehicle was confirmed to be stolen and the utility pole was destroyed. The roadway had to be shutdown and PSE responded to the location to replace the pole. Charges are being filed on the driver of the vehicle for multiple offenses
