Black Diamond Police Reports

On 06/12/2023 at about 0500 hours, officers on viewed a suspicious subject at the 29000 block of 216th Ave SE. Officers observed the subject wearing dark clothing, facing a commercial building with a charging cable in their hand. officers attempted to identify the individual, but were unsuccessful. Due to the lack of evidence suggesting that criminal activity had occurred, officers advised the subject that they were free to leave, and the subject left the scene.

On 6/12/2023, Officers were contacted by a representative of the Black Diamond Community Center regarding an incident that had occurred on 6/8/23. Officers were advised an employee had an emotional outburst and became angry regarding guidance received about sharing personal information. A meeting was being held regarding the subjects continued employment at the facility, police presence was requested in case the individual showed up. Officers stayed on scene for the meeting and the individual never came. Officers cleared the scene without incident.

On 06/12/2023, officers were dispatched to the 30400 block of 3rd Ave SE, in reference to a citizen assist of someone being locked inside a gate. Officers contacted the citizen and opened the gate for them.

On 06/13/2023, officers on viewed 2 off leash dogs that were running on the 23900 block of Fairfax St. Officers contacted the animal’s owners, and they brought them inside of their home.

On 06-13-23, at approximately 06:35 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a verbal threat complaint to be handled by phone. Officers called the reporting person who wanted to report that a previous employee called his cell phone to complain about being fired from the company in January 2023.  He blamed a female who worked for the company and he never stated who that female was. This subject made an indirect threat towards this unknown employee.

On 6/13/2023, an officer received a report of a fraud with the victim living in the 22800 block of SE Fir St. The investigation is ongoing.

On 6-13-2023, at approximately 22:30 hours, Officers were dispatched to a 911 hang-up at the 29700 block of 225th PL SE. Officers arrived and spoke with the occupants of the residence. Officers determined that the call was accidental.

On 6/14/2023, an officer responded to the 22200 block of SE 288 St for a harassment report. The officer found no crime had been committed and provided information on how to obtain a protection order.

On 6-15-23, at approximately 05:20 hours, Officers responded to the 31100 block of 3rd AVE for a suspicious vehicle. After an investigation, Officers arrested the driver for Physical Control of a vehicle while under the influence. The subject was booked into the Enumclaw City Jail.

On 06/15/2023, Officers received a phone report regarding copper wire thefts in the 26000 block of Lawson ST. Officers then spoke with the reporting party who discovered the theft. A criminal case was written for a commercial business who was the victim of the theft.

On 6-15-23, at approximately 21:02 hours, Officers received a request to confirm a No Contact Order between two parties. Officers determined that the No Contact Order was valid and had been served on the respondent. Officers notified the appropriate agency.

On 06/17/23 officers were dispatched to the 32600 block of 3rd Ave, in reference to loud music coming from a building. Upon arrival music could be heard at the roadway coming from the building. The subject in charge of a party was contacted and agreed to lower the volume of the music.

On 06/17/2023 Officers responded to the scene of a single vehicle collision in the 28800 block of SR 169. Officers checked the involved individuals for injuries, and assisted with scene control until King County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived to investigate the collision.
