Black Diamond Police Reports

On 6/19/2023, Officers were dispatched to the 24700 block of Morgan St. for a civil standby. It was reported a roommate had changed the locks and was not allowing the reporting party into the residence. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the involved parties. Officers were able to resolve the situation and the reporting party was allowed back into the home.

On 6/19/2023, an officer located a reported stolen vehicle which stopped in the 32400 block of 236 AVE SE. The driver was detained for investigation and eventually booked into jail for multiple outstanding warrants. The owner of the vehicle could not be contacted and the vehicle was impounded.

On 6/19/23 Officers responded to a call in the 24700 block of Morgan St. One resident advised their room mate was yelling and had been drinking. The caller advised the responding officer that there had not been any threats made but the other involved subject was calling them names and saying that they still owed rent money. Additional family members arrived at the location to mediate. Neither involved wanted to leave but one advised that they would be moving out the next morning. Both stated that they would be fine and would call back again if needed.

On 6/26/2023, an officer responded to the 32800 block of Railroad Ave for a blocking disabled vehicle. The officer conducted traffic control while the vehicle was removed.

On 06/26/2023, officers were dispatched to a verbal domestic in progress at the 33300 block of Crystal Ave SE. Officers investigated the incident and determined that no crime had occurred. Officers forwarded the case to prosecutors for review.

On 6/27/2023, an officer responded to the 32500 block of Newcastle Dr. for a 911 hang-up. The officer checked the area and determined there were no issues.

On 6-27-2023, at approximately 20:32 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 30700 block of 3rd AVE for a suspicious person. Officers responded to the business and were unable to locate a subject matching the description.

On 06-28-23, at approximately 07:59 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a hit and run collision at 31600 3rd AVE. Officers were informed that the Black Diamond Fire Department witnessed the collision and called 911 to report it. Officers arrived and spoke with the victim who stated that he did not call 911 and did not want to be a victim of the hit and run collision.

On 6/28/2023, an officer received a report of property damage that occurred in the 23800 block of Bruckners Court. The investigation is ongoing.

On 6/28/2023, an officer responded to the 23700 block of Ash Ave SE for a report of an assault that occurred prior.

On 6/28/2023, an officer stopped a vehicle in the 29200 block of 218 Pl. SE. The driver did not have a license or insurance. Due to the drivers age the case was forwarded to the King County Juvenile Prosecutor.

On 06-29-23, at approximately 08:20 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding an assist to the Black Diamond Fire Department at Fire Station 98. Officers were advised that a male subject experiencing crisis went to the fire department and asked to be transported to the hospital. Officers were asked to stand-by because the subject was very agitated. Officers arrived and found the subject already restrained in the back of the aid car. The Black Diamond Fire Department then transported the subject to the hospital.

On 06-29-23, at approximately 13:23 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding an assist to the Black Diamond Fire Department. Officers were informed that a semi truck struck a low hanging Puget Sound Energy (PSE) wires in the 28800 block of 216th AVE SE. Officers were informed that the Black Diamond Fire Department wanted assistance with traffic control. Officers arrived and spoke with a representative of PSE who stated that the heat caused the wires to sag, which allowed the truck to get caught in them.  The wires were removed from the truck and the Officers cleared the scene.

On 6/29/23 dispatched advised of a request for an officer to assist another agency with an incident in North Bend. The officer was contacted and advised of the request.

On 6-29-23, at approximately 20:01 hours, Officers responded to the 32300 block of 148th AVE SE to assist the Fire Department with a suicidal subject. Officers spoke with the subject, who agreed to be transported to a hospital for a mental health evaluation.

On 06/29/2023 Officers with the Major Crimes Task Force were called to the scene of a suspicious death in the city of North Bend. Officers assisted with scene processing and photography.

On 06/30/2023 Officers were dispatched to the 32300 block of 3rd AVE in regard to a report of suspicious persons walking through the area. Officers conducted an area check and were unable to locate anyone matching the description provided.

On 06/30/2023 at approximately 2250 hours, an officer observed a sold but unoccupied residence in the 33500 block of Holly Ave SE, with the garage left open. Upon checking the residence it was confirmed to be unoccupied and the garage door into the residence unsecured. The residence was checked with negative findings and secured without issue.

On 07/01/2023 at approximately 1743 hours, officers were dispatched to the 32600 block of 3rd Ave in reference to a vehicle versus pole collision. The driver was not found to be injured or impaired, but drove off the roadway to avoid a separate collision. An investigation and collision report were completed.

On 07/02/2023, Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint at the 22400 block of SE 302nd ST. Officers arrived on scene and met with the reporting party, who advised that a vehicle was parked on their property. Officers called a private tow for the resident and cleared the scene.
