Black Diamond Police Reports

On 07/16/2023, Officer were flagged down in the 27200 block of 216th AVE SE. The reporting party advised her friend had fallen down and hit her head causing her to lose consciousness. Officers advised dispatch and located the female who had reportedly lost consciousness. She had regained consciousness and had a laceration to her face. Officers requested fire and the King County Sheriff’s Office to the scene. Shortly thereafter a King County Deputy arrived on scene and took over. Officers cleared the scene.

On 7/16/2023, Officers were dispatched to the 32600 block of Hemlock AVE SE for a noise complaint. It was reported multiple individuals were laughing and talking loudly. Officers arrived on scene and listened prior to contacting the individuals. The noise did not violate Black Diamond Municipal Code. Officers contacted the group of juveniles and informed them someone had called in a noise complaint. They stated they would keep it down. Officers cleared the scene and contacted the reporting party by phone. Officers informed them of the results of the contact.

On 7/17/2023 an officer responded to a request for a phone call from another agency. The officer made phone contact with the requestor and answered some questions about an incident that occurred earlier in the year

On 7-17-23, at approximately 18:24 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 31600 block of 3rd AVE for an erratically driven vehicle. Officers responded and conducted an area check for the vehicle. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle at that time.

On 7-17-23, at approximately 18:46 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 31500 block of Lake Sawyer RD SE for a subject with a motorcycle in the park. Officers responded and contacted the subject. Officers informed the subject that motorized vehicles are unauthorized in the park and advised him where he could legally park.

On 7/18/23 Black Diamond Police Officers and the KCSO Dive Team attempted to locate a vehicle that was reported missing in June, and the vehicle owner had advised the vehicle was possibly submerged in Lake Sawyer, located at 22480 SE 296TH ST. The KCSO Dive Team located the vehicle and assisted Royal Towing in removing the vehicle from the lake. The vehicle was then impounded by Royal Towing.

On 07-18-23, at approximately 13:36 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a theft. Officers were informed that a male subject wanted to report that he placed his laptop computer on the front porch of his apartment when he was moving out on 07-15-23, and when he returned to his apartment, his computer was missing. Officers contacted the victim and took a theft report.

On 7-18-23, at approximately 19:31 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 23500 block of Roberts DR for a possible impaired driver. Officers responded and conducted an area check for the subject vehicle. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

On 07/20/2023 at approximately 1220 an officer was dispatched to respond to the 30200 block of 234th Ave SE, in reference to an e-mail marine complaint. It was reported that a vessel was completing illegal maneuvers while pulling a tube recently. The circumstances surrounding the event were discussed. No further police action was requested or appropriate.

On 07/20/2023 at approximately 1600 hours, an officer was requested complete a Vessel Inspection in the 25500 block of Baker Street. Upon responding the inspection was completed without issue.

On 7-20-23, at approximately 16:47 hours, Officers received a theft report from the 32000 block of Railroad AVE. The reporting party advised that she had items stolen from her unlocked vehicle. There are no suspects at this time.

On 07/20/2023, Officers stopped a vehicle in the 32400 block of 3rd AVE for a traffic violation. Subsequent investigation determined that there was probable cause to believe the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported for booking.

On 07/21/2023 at approximately 1714 hours, an officer observed a reckless driver in the 22600 block of SE 296th Ave. The driver was contacted and taken into custody for a driving offense and booked into a correctional facility without incident.

On 07/21/2023, Officers were dispatched to the 23000 block of SE Fir St. regarding a 911 hang-up from a phone. Officers conducted an area check but did not locate the source of the call.
