Black Diamond Police Reports 12-3 to 12-9, 2019

On Tuesday, 12/03/2019, Officers stopped a vehicle in the 29200 block of 216th AVE SE when a Department of Licensing records check showed the registered owner had a license status of Suspended in the Third Degree. The driver was cited and released at the scene.

On Tuesday, 12/03/2019, Officers were contacted by an individual who wanted to report a case of identity theft. They reported that an unknown individual had used their social security number to open a credit card account. An investigation is ongoing.

On 12/03/19, at about 1414 hours, the Department received a phone request to confirm a Black Diamond arrest warrant for a suspect being released from Issaquah Jail. The warrant was confirmed and the suspect was booked into their jail.

On 12-03-19, Black Diamond Officers were dispatched to an administrative detail to confirm a local warrant for King County Deputies. Black Diamond Officers confirmed the warrant and King County Deputies arrested the warrant subject and booked him into the Enumclaw Jail.

On 12/4/2019 an officer conducted a traffic stop on vehicle on 4th Avenue at Park Street. The driver was found to be driving while license suspended 3rd degree. The driver was cited and released, and a licensed driver arrived on scene to take the vehicle.

On 12-04-19, at approximately 2203 hours, Black Diamond Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the Ten Trails Development. Officers located the vehicle and made contact with the driver. The subject was identified as a contracted employee of the development who was given permission to stay on site in his vehicle. Officers confirmed this by contacting the subjects employer. Officers cleared the scene without incident.

On Thursday, 12/05/2019, Officers responded to a two vehicle collision in the 32500 block of 3rd AVE. Subsequent investigation determined that the at fault driver was under the influence, and that individual was arrested and booked into jail.

On 12/5/2019, an officer took a telephone report of the theft of a check from the 33000 of Glacier Avenue SE. The case is under investigation.

On 12/15/2019 officers were requested to do a civil standby in the 22000 block of SE 288th Street while a subject retrieved some personal belongings from the residence.  The standby was completed without incident.

On 12/6/2019 an officer was dispatched to the Regional Justice Center in Kent for a warrant pickup. An inmate was being released, one who had two (2) outstanding arrests warrants issued by the Black Diamond Court. The subject was picked up and transported to the Issaquah Jail.

On 12/6/2019 officers contacted a suspicious subject at the front door of a closed business in the 31500 block of 3rd Avenue. The subject was detained after one of the officers noticed the handle of what appeared to be a pistol sticking out of his jacket. The pistol was found to be a bb gun. The subject was released after being questioned about two (2) recent thefts. No criminal charges pending.

On 12/7/2019, an officer responded to the 23500 block of Granite Ct for a report of a suspicious circumstance. At about 0200 hours a male wearing only boxers and dragging his clothes pressed the doorbell on a residence. The doorbell camera captured video of the subject. The residents did not wake up when this occurred. The officer checked the area but was unable to locate the subject.

On 12/7/2019, an officer responded to the 23600 block of Roberts Drive for a subject walking around who was not wearing shoes or a shirt. The officer located the male nearby. The subject was given a courtesy ride back to his residence.

On 12/7/19, at about 1344 hours, an officer was dispatched and responded to the 323500 block of Granite CT for a vehicle parked in the No Parking zone. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and the vehicle was moved.

On 12/7/19, at about 1949 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 25500 block of Lawson ST. The investigation determined that the driver was suspended 3rd degree. The driver was issued a criminal citation and released at the scene.

On 12-08-2019, at approximately 0346 hours, officers responded to an agency assist for Enumclaw Police Department near the 3300 block of Porter ST regarding an unwanted person and possible threats with a knife. Officers acted as a backing unit and Enumclaw Officers determined that no crime had occurred. Officers cleared the scene without incident.

On 12-08-2019, at approximately 2113 hours, officers responded to the 25600 block of Lawson ST for a report of an unwanted subject. The subject, a neighbor, had repeatedly rung the reporting party’s doorbell to confront her about a disagreement over her porch light and his right to darkness. Officers contacted both subjects and it was determined no crime had occurred. The subject agreed to not go to the reporting party’s property again.

On 12/9/2019, an officer followed up on an email received at the police department regarding subjects knocking on the door of a residence in the 30200 block of 234TH AVE SE during the evening hours of 12/6/2019. The reporting party believes the subjects are neighbors. The reporting party was advised to contact the police department if this occurs again.

On 12/09/19, at about 1839 hours, an officer was dispatched and responded to the 23700 black of Roberts DR. regarding a possible road rage incident. An area check for the involved vehicle was met with negative results. The complaint was contacted and it was determined no crime had occurred.
