2-10-2020 to 2-16-2020

On 2/10/2020, at about 1014 hours, an officer responded to the Ten Trails Development for three burglarizes that occurred sometime over the weekend. The homes that were burglarized were unoccupied and under construction. At this point there are no leads or suspect for this case. This case is inactive.

On 2/10/2020, an officer responded to the City of Puyallup Jail and took custody of a subject who had a Black Diamond warrant for DWLS 3rd. The subject was transported and booked into the Enumclaw Jail without incident.

On 02-11-2020, at approximately 07:33 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding an area check for a possible gun. Officers were informed that a subject called 911 to report that she believed she saw a gun on the side of the road near the Black Diamond Eagles Hall. Officers conducted an area check for the possible gun and were unable to find anything.

On 02-12-2020, at approximately 13:15 hours, Officers stopped a vehicle in the 31100 block of 3rd AVE for speeding. The driver was issued a criminal citation for driving while license suspended third degree and was later released at the scene.

On 02-12-2020, at approximately 17:15 hours, Officers contacted a male and female at their residence in the 30800 block of 229th PL SE and served them with a civil small claims court subpoena.

On 02-12-2020, at approximately 2348 hours, officers responded to an agency assist for Enumclaw PD at the intersection of Griffin AVE and Harding ST. A stolen vehicle had led EPD officers on a short pursuit that ended with the vehicle colliding with a house. Officers aided in traffic control and later cleared the scene without incident.

On 2/14/2020, at about 1800 hours, an officer came across a two vehicle non-injury collision in the 28900 block of 216th AVE SE. One driver was cited with negligent driving in the 2nd degree.

On Saturday, 02/15/2020, Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 21700 block of SE 294th ST in regard to a suspicious person in a back yard. Officers were able to identify the individual and upon the request of the homeowner, will be attempting to locate him and serve a trespass order.

On Saturday, 02/15/2020, Officers responded to the 31700 block in regard to a single vehicle non-injury traffic collision in which a vehicle slid off the roadway into a ditch. Officers remained on scene until a tow company could remove the vehicle.

On 2/15/2020, at about 15:58 hours, an officer was conducting an area check in the 28800 block of 224th AVE SE when he observed a white GMC box truck parked at a residence under construction. Due to several theft in the area officers contacted two subject at the residence. The subjects were workers and had permission to be there. Officers cleared the scene without incident.

On 2/15/2020 an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a speed violation on Roberts Drive at Lynch Lane. The drive was found to be driving without a valid driver’s license. The vehicle was impounded to Royal Towing after the driver could not identify the owner of the vehicle. The driver was cited for her violations and given a courtesy transport to a nearby business.

On 02/15/2020, Officers with the Black Diamond Police Department responded to the 24700 Block of Mason Street, in reference to a barking dog complaint. Upon arrival, no barking dogs were heard or seen. The RP was contacted and at his request, Officers returned to the location later in the shift and still no barking dogs were heard.

On 2/15/2020 an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a speed violation on Roberts Drive at Lynch Lane. The driver was found to be driving while license suspended 3rd degree. The driver was cited and released from the scene and a licensed driver responded to take possession of the vehicle.

On 2/16/2020, Black Diamond Officers responded to the 500 block of Farrelly St in Enumclaw to assist the Enumclaw Police department with a subject attempting to enter a residence that was not his. Black Diamond Officers arrived after the subject was detained. The investigation was conducted by the Enumclaw Police Department.

On 02/16/2020, were dispatched to the Score Jail regarding a subject at that location who had an active warrant out of Black Diamond. Black Diamond Officers responded to Score and transported and booked the subject into the Enumclaw Jail.
