Black Diamond Police Reports Jan. 4 to 10, 2021

On 1/4/2021 an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 30800 block of 224th AVE SE for a speed violation. It was found the driver had a suspended driver’s license, and he was driving with a suspended vehicle registration. The driver was issued a criminal citation and released from the scene. The vehicle was impounded to Royal Towing.

On 01-05-21, at approximately 05:54 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a suspicious person. Officers were informed that a resident on Glacier AVE SE witnessed a white female walk up to her neighbor’s porch. The resident opened her window and asked the female what she was doing and the female drove out of the neighborhood. Officers contacted the home owner who stated that they were not expecting anyone at their residence and confirmed that nothing was missing from their front porch.  An area check was conducted for the female with negative results.

On 01-05-21, at approximately 09:24 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a female who shoplifted from the Cenex Gas Station. Officers were advised that the female stole a package of Hostess Cupcakes and was last seen walking south on 3rd AVE. Officers were informed that the store employee did not want the female charged with theft and was asking for the subject to be trespassed. Officers located the female walking south on 3rd Ave and detained her. The subject was provided with a trespass form for the Cenex Gas Station and transported to Maple Valley per her request where she was released.

On 01/08/2020, officers responded to a domestic with a knife call near the 25100 block of Favro ST. Upon arrival, it was determined that there was probable cause to arrest one of the involved parties for assault 4th degree DV as well as exposing children to DV. The subject was arrested and booked into Issaquah Jail.

On 1/8/2021, Officers were dispatched to the 23800 block of Fairfax ST for a malicious mischief report. Officers learned the landlord of the property wanted damages documented from the previous tenants. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the reporting party. Officers explained to the reporting party that this was a civil issue and Officers would not be involved. The reporting party stated she understood and officers cleared the scene.

On 01/08/2021 Officers stopped a vehicle in the 21900 block of SE 288th ST when it was determined that the registered owner had a license status of Revoked in the 2nd Degree. After determining that the owner was driving the vehicle, the driver was cited for driving with a revoked license and the vehicle released to a licensed driver.

On 1/9/2021 officers responded to the 29000 block of 216 AVE SE for a report of an unwanted subject outside a business. Officers contacted the subject and requested he move along, the subject agreed.

On 01/10/2021, Officers responded to the 32500 block Highland Dr in reference to an agency assist. Renton PD requested that contact be made with a subject at that location regarding a vehicle that they were out with. The subject did not reside at that location. Contact information regarding the subject was obtained and passed onto Renton PD.

On 01/10/21, an Officer was dispatched the 30200 block of 224th Ave SE reference to a civil standby.  Caller requested to see if her vehicle was at that location because she had a court order giving her possession of it. The area was check and the vehicle was not located.
