Black Diamond Police Reports

On 07/04/2023, Officers were flagged down by a boater on Lake Sawyer in need of assistance. Officers towed the boat back to the boat launch without incident.

On 7-4-2023, at approximately 14:12 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 24700 block of Mason ST for a verbal dispute. Officers arrived and contacted the reporting party. The reporting party advised that the dispute was about a vehicle sale, and the other parties had already left.Officers provided the reporting party with resources and a case number. Officers determined that it was a civil issue.

On 7-4-2023, at approximately 15:22 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 29600 block of 232nd AVE SE for a boat sinking in Lake Sawyer. Officers responded and determined that the unoccupied boat was tied to the dock and was partially under water. Fire arrived and containedleaking gasoline. Officers completed a Washington Boat Accident Report and determined no crime was committed.

On 7/4/2023 and officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle in the 23600 block of Roberts Dr. The vehicle refused to stop and drove at a high rate of speed until they left the Black Diamond City Limits.

On 7-5-2023, at approximately 14:09 hours, Officers took a report of a hit and run that occurred at the 32800 block of Railroad AVE earlier in the day. After investigating, Officers determined that the damage was not caused by a hit and run in Black Diamond.

On 7-5-23, at approximately 16:41 hours, Officers received a CPS Referral at the 32600 block of Stuart AVE. Following an investigation, Officers determined that no crime was committed in Black Diamond. Officers forwarded the information to CPS.

On 7-5-2023, at approximately 18:20 hours, Officers responded to the 31100 block of 3rd AVE for a parking complaint. Officers contacted the vehicle’s owner, who moved the vehicle to a different location.

On 07/06/2023 Officers were dispatched to a business in the 30400 block of 3rd AVE in regard to a request for a citizen assist when a customer was left inside a secure area after the business closed.

On 07/06/2023, at approximately 23:40 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 33400 block of Golden Lakes Lane to conduct a welfare check on the behalf of Pacific Police Department. A caller advised their son was possibly suicidal and had not returned their phone calls. Officers spoke with the son over the phone who advised they were not suicidal. The son was asked to contact their parents. Officers cleared the scene without incident.

On 07-07-23, at approximately 07:57 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding an overdose at a residence in the 23900 block of Lily PL. Officers arrived at the residence and found that a 23 year old female intentionally overdosed on medication with the intent to commit suicide. The female was transported to the hospital to be treated by a mental health professional.

On 07/07/2023 an officer was requested to complete a civil standby in the 32000 block of Ash Ave SE, for a subject with a protection order, restraining them from the address. The standby was completed without issue.

On 07/08/23 at approximately 1306 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 22800 block of SE Evergreen St, in reference to a dog barking. The officer checked the area reported on foot and in a vehicle, not locating a barking dog or any other issues.

On 07/08/23 at approximately 1440 hours, an officer was dispatched to a 911 hangup in the area of 32000 Botts Drive. The only noise heard by the 911 call taker was buttons being dialed. The phone number was attempted, with a voicemail left. The area was check with negative results. A residence in the area was checked, but the owner of the phone was not located and no problems were located.

On 07/08/23 officers were dispatched to the 32600 block of 3rd Ave, in reference to loud music coming from a building. Officers contacted the landlord of the building to advise them of the loud music. The landlord contacted the subjects of the party to reduce the music volume

On 07/08/23 officers were dispatched to the 32600 block of 3rd Ave, in reference to loud music coming from a building. Upon arrival, music could be heard at coming from the building. The subject in charge of a party was contacted and agreed to lower the volume of the music.

On 07/09/2023, Officers were dispatched to the 32200 block of Botts Dr regarding a welfare check. A caller received an emergency text message from their mother and requested for officers to check on her. Officers contacted the mother and discovered she was fine and had just woken up. Officers cleared the scene without incident.

On 7-9-2023, at approximately 15:25 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 22400 block of SE 296th ST to a report of subjects who ignited fireworks in a portable toilet. Officers arrived and determined there was no damage to the portable toilet. Officers contacted the juvenile subjects, who agreed to clean the toilet. Officers later confirmed that the toilet had been cleaned and left in good condition with no signs of damage.
